There are up to thousand kinds of Bananas based on the color, size and firmness. Cavendish Bananas is the most widely produced and Eaten Fruits in the world. We start the process of planting Cavendish Bananas in Ecuador to grow millions boxes of bananas annually for consumers Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Banana is grown and harvested in a labor-intensive process that involves hundreds of workers, Equipment’s and Instruments, Airplanes, Cushions, Bags, Machines, Cartons, Trucks, Trains, and Containers.
Our average banana plants produces fruit about every nine months. The stems usually grows to have around 150 bananas. We cut the green fruit from the trees in plant and dropped carefully on the back of our employees who carry a cushion to avoid any bruising of the fruit.
We use good quality material to prevent and remove other plants growing around the bananas and to kill off nematodes, and small worms that attack banana plants from the roots. Spraying is an important stage of pesticide procedures in banana farming to combat Black Sigatoka.
We used clean water to wash pesticides off the bananas and to wash the bananas in the packing house and used special plastic bags to protect the growing fruits from insects.
